Easter Popcorn – Easy No Bake Fun For Kids
If you are looking for an easy Easter themed no bake sweet treat to make with the kids, then these popcorn clusters or Bunny Bait, as I’ve seen it referred to on American shows, is great fun. There’s no baking needed and its one of those recipes you can adapt to work with lots of different sweets and chocolate – so perfect for using up leftover Easter treats. You just need a big bag of sweet and salty popcorn and you are good to go.
To make it a bit special, or to serve at a party we’ve also made individual bunny cases to serve it in, made out of cupcake cases and pipe cleaners.

This is also a nice activity to do with little ones without having to fuss about exact amounts or using the oven.
Easy No Bake Easter Popcorn
The two main ingredients you need, are popcorn and chocolate for melting. You can then vary the rest of the ingredients, replacing with whatever sweet treats you have in the cupboard at the time.
Here’s how we made it:
Ingredients
- 1 large sharing bag of sweet & salty popcorn
- A bag of chocolate mini eggs (micromini ones, as i always worry with the normal ones about choking, or crush normal mini eggs with a rolling pin)
- 100g pretzels
- 2 tablespoons of freeze-dried raspberries
- 100g mini marshmallows
- 400g white Chocolate
- Sprinkles
- Cupcake cases
- Pipe cleaners (bend into bunny ears and wrap with sellotape)

Method
- Pour the popcorn into a bowl and then mix in the broken up mini eggs, freeze dried raspberries and marshmallows.
- Break up the prezels into bite sized pieces and add to the mix.
- Melt the chocolate – I do this by snapping it into individual squares and then melting it in the microwave in a plastic bowl in ten second bursts till its done.
- Then pour the chocolate over the popcorn mix and give it a stir until its all combined and sticks together.
- Then all you need to do, is pour the mix onto a big chopping board and flatten it out into one big block and leave to set.
- You could then serve it like this and people can simply break off pieces or you can pop chunks into cupcake cases.
- To make the cases into bunnies we drew noses on, then looped the pipe cleaners into ear shapes and wrapped the ends together with sellotape before sticking them onto the sides.
