The Happy Soak Bath & Body Product Review

Everyone has their own way of relaxing and for me a bit of a pamper is my perfect escape. I love trying out new bath and beauty products, so when The Happy Soak company got in touch, I jumped at the chance to review some products. Their owner Hayley has set up an online store from her home in Cardiff making small batch, high quality cosmetics. For the purpose of this review I received a free bath melt, body conditioner and body scrub.

Disclosure: I was gifted these products for the purpose of this review however all opinions are my own.

I don’t know about you, but my sleep has been all over the place since the start of this pandemic and I think I’ve been making it worse rather than better recently – Way too much coffee for a start and I’m sure all the endless scrolling on my phone in the evening is contributing. So, last night I tried a different approach, put my phone away, ran a bath and enjoyed soaking in a lilac haze. It didn’t take long to switch off watching the bath melt fizz and bob, filling with the room with an amazing aroma as it turned the water a pretty shade of pale purple.

I also used the Dead Sea Salt body Scrub and I can’t get over the smell. I love anything peachy so it was always going to be a winner, but it was strong without the synthetic sweetness that sometimes accompanies fruity products. The scrub was great and as I’m writing this my skin still feels soft and nourished the next day. It exfoliated my skin, while the rich oils stopped it feeling too harsh. I have added a layer of the Feeling Fruity Body Conditioner this morning and again the smell is lovely and my skin is definitely thanking me for a bit of overdue TLC.

Hayley shares on her website the difference with her scrubs to many others and how they work so well “Some scrubs can be harsh and abrasive especially if you have sensitive skin, but not this one made with the best quality fine grade dead sea salt and vitamin E rich peach kernel oil, to care and nurture your skin gently whilst you exfoliate. They also contain a high percentage of oil along with Aloe Vera to help soften and nourish. “

They have several fragrances currently available on their website including the feeling fruity ones I sampled.
