Dressing the Garden with Accessories for Summertime Entertaining

With the weather finally starting to warm up in the UK, what better way to celebrate the start of summer than with a meal outside. I love entertaining in the summertime, nothing better than spending long warm evenings outside, sitting with family and friends, while the children play in the garden. While I’m still waiting for the higher temperatures to remain consistent (to avoid the dreaded frost) before starting to plant up all my flower beds with colourful plants, I’ve been spending some time, looking at home furnishing options instead to brighten up my outdoor seating and dining areas…

Having different cushions, throws, and blankets is an easy way to bring some colour to outdoor spaces, that are then nice to cosy up under in the evenings too on garden chairs and hammocks. I love the natural palette of these garden cushions and that they are water resistant – it’s so easy to forget to bring the cushions in when it rains every time.
