A Review of We R Christmas – an Online One Stop Shop for Decorations, Trees and Lights

As with most families, Christmas is a big deal in our house and we go all out with the decorations. In fact our Christmas decorating seems to spread further throughout our house, with the arrival of every festive season. What started with one Christmas tree in the front room, has now turned into multiple trees, a wreath and lots of ornaments, dotted all over our home. So when We R Christmas recently got in touch to see if we would like to sample some of their decorations, I was very pleased to accept.

So first things first, who are We R Christmas? And equally importantly where do I have left in my house to fit more decorations come Christmas time!? We R Christmas is an online shop dedicated to, you’ve guessed it – Christmas decorations! As well as a large range of artificial trees, they sell wreaths, garlands and every kind of ornament you can imagine. Including a new arrival that I especially loved the look of when I was browsing their website – giant inflatable baubles you can stand next to your tree!

Their dedication to just this one seasonal celebration also comes with a commitment to being a family centered business, that prides itself on strong customer service and quick delivery to UK families. My initial experience with the company certainly echoed that. Delivery was straight forward and I was kept updated all along.

The decorations I received were a surprise and I’m relieved to share that they fit perfectly in our dining room, the only room left in our house that we don’t normally decorate. Each year we have a tree in the front room that has always been silver themed. We then added two more trees to the mix when my children got a little bit older and asked to have miniature trees to decorate in their bedrooms too. Then a couple of years ago, after seeing so many funky ornaments full of colour that we liked, we decided to also get an artificial tree for our Bar/cinema room, so we could enjoy a different themed tree in there as well. So when I received my box of treats from We R Christmas I was excited to see the theme they had chosen for us.

In the box was a full size Christmas tree and a lovely selection of ornaments and lights all encompassing a red and gold theme – a perfect match to our traditional dark green dining room. I have just spent an enjoyable afternoon getting all the decorations out and putting them up to see how they would look. I’m pleased to report that the colours work beautifully together and will make a wonderful backdrop for when we are sat down together as a family to eat our Christmas dinner. Something I used when dressing this tree, is a guide on We R Christmas. Being one of the leading UK retailers of Christmas decorations, they clearly know their stuff on getting the aesthetic right. Therefore they have pulled all their top tips together on decorating your tree like a professional. This is full of advice on all things, from how to follow a theme at home, getting the most out of your artificial tree and even how many baubles you need.

Artificial Christmas Tree from We R Christmas

We were sent a beautiful artificial tree and as you can see from the picture it’s great quality. We tend to get one real tree for our main front room Christmas tree and then use artificial trees for the rest. I am a bit wary of artificial ones though without seeing them, as they can vary massively. This one though is a nice muted green colour, with a large set of varying branches that look realistic. It gives a dense, full shape when all set up. The only downside with this, is that it does take a good while to extend and separate all the branches, as there are so many.

Christmas Ornaments from Online Retailor We R Christmas

We’ve got the classic combination of gold and red baubles and having so many together in the same colour, works to give a dramatic impact. Alongside the decorated tree, we were also sent a giant red bow Christmas light wall decoration, that looks lovely against the dark green wall in our dining room.

All of the products we were sent, are available to order on the We R Christmas website.
