Have you heard of the skincare brand Super Facialist? I hadn’t until recently, but since I’ve started using their products about a month ago, I’ve been super impressed. To be honest I normally (and have for years) used Elemis for all of my daily routine. However, as I was sent some products to try (at the convenient timing of when my moisturiser and night cream were running out! I’ve been giving these a trial run.
First up the feel and consistency is pretty similar to Elemis – light yet rich, if that makes sense! I can’t bear heavy creams, especially when you can feel them long after application. The Super Lift Day Cream glides on and sinks straight in, giving a nice dewy look to then apply my makeup. The night cream is similar, it feels rich but never oily and I’ve noticed my skin looks better in the mornings since I’ve started using it. It’s also contains Retonol and has an anti-aging focus so I’ve been putting it on my neck too – an area I often forget about.

Dr PawPaw Tinted Balm
This is so much more than a lip balm. Dr PawPaw’s award winning products not only smell and feel amazing, packed full of pawpaw, aloe vera and olive oil, but the best part is they are also great at giving a subtle lift of colour to lips, cheeks and eyes. With lots of shade to choose from, their products are made in the UK, with ethically sourced vegan ingredients and recyclable packaging. I love how special underwear and Christmas pyjamas can make me feel and when you get it right, can make such a special Christmas gift too.
One such company that sells beautiful underwear online, catering for all sizes is Pretty Polly. I think this lace balconette set, below, is the perfect example of an elegant, classy design, that caters to a larger cup size.

You can’t beat the feeling of a face mask when you’re doing a bit of DIY pampering at home. Especially to hydrate and brighten dull skin in these cold grey months. Another make up brand I’ve been trying out this year, is the Welsh beauty brand Code Beautiful. I love this quote from their home page that sums them up perfectly:

My favourite product is their lip and cheek tint called Code HTG (Hydrate Tint Glow) and I have been suitably impressed with its different uses. It has a nice creamy texture and I’ve found it great to add a bit of moisture and colour to my lips, alongside a healthy peachy tint to my cheeks. It comes in three shades and I’ve been trying out the pale pink tone called Peach Moonstone. I’ve found this colour works really nicely giving me a bit of rosy lift when applied to the apple of my cheeks over the top of my bronzer.

Chelsea Boots
Ever popular in winter, Chelsea boots are back in abundance for winter 2022 and this year especially there are some fabulous prints to brighten up your winter wardrobe. These Tenby boots from Hotter are a fabulous example and not only do I love the leopard print, they are comfortable too.
Luxury Candle & Oils
